2. Hosting and server logs
This website runs on our own server in a data centre in Nuremberg, Germany. When you visit it, the web server stores the IP address, time, requested address, amount of data transferred, browser identifier and referrer in log files. This serves secure operation and defence against attacks (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after five weeks at the latest.
The website loads nothing from other servers: no external fonts, scripts, videos or maps.
3. Cookies and storage
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. If you choose a colour scheme (light or dark), your browser stores this choice locally (local storage). It is not sent to us and only keeps the setting you expressly chose (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can remove it at any time with “System” or in your browser.
4. Contact by email
If you write to us, we use your details (email address, name, content of the message) only to handle your request, for example joining the beta (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, for general requests (f)). The emails are kept on our own mail server and deleted when they are no longer needed and no retention obligation applies.
5. Discord
The link to our Discord server leads to Discord. Data is only transferred to Discord there; Discord’s privacy policy applies.
6. Licence check of the software
Provomatic installations regularly confirm their licence with our licence server. They send the licence key, product, domain of the installation and version; we also store the server’s IP address and the time of the last check. This is necessary to bind the licence to a domain (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Customer data, invoices and revenue of the installation are not transferred.
7. Buying licences
To sell a licence we process name, email address, billing address, company and VAT ID where applicable, the licences bought and the payment details we receive from the payment provider (amount, status, method – no full card or account numbers). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We keep invoice and order data for the statutory periods (including § 147 AO, § 257 HGB). For the payment itself the privacy policies of the chosen payment provider apply as well, for example Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) or PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. (Luxembourg); they may also transfer data to the USA and are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for this.
8. Data in your installation
Provomatic runs on your own server. You are responsible for the data of your customers that you process with Provomatic; we have no access to it. Only in support requests do we see what you choose to send us.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Write to us at support@texus-addons.de. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
